Smith scored eight points, led the team with seven rebounds and added two assists, a steal and block in 33 minutes.

A&M was 8 of 14 on 3-pointers, which was its most against a Big 12 opponent. A&M was 9 of 15 in a 95-77 victory over Duke to open the season.
