Gant, Starks receive All-America honorable mention

Texas A&M senior Danielle Gant and Takia Starks received honorable mention on the Associated Press' women's basketball All-America team released Tuesday.

Gant averaged 14.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for A&M this season. Starks scored 15.8 points and grabbed 4.3 boards per contest while leading the Aggies in 3-pointers (35).

Oklahoma's Courtney Paris became the only four-time All-American in women's college basketball history.

Connecticut's Maya Moore and Renee Montgomery, Angel McCoughtry of Louisville and Kristi Toliver of Maryland rounded out the first team.
