Aggies earn spots on AVCA All-America team: Texas A&M outside hitter Sarah Ammerman made the third team on the AVCA All-America team, the AVCA announced Wednesday.
A&M's right-side hitter Jennifer Banse earned honorable mention honors.
Ammerman is the seventh Aggie to earn first-, second- or third-team honors on the AVCA squad. The last was Laura Jones, who made the first team in 2005.
