E-mail to a friend LUBBOCK -- The Texas A&M women's tennis team beat Texas Tech 6-1 on Friday to close out its Big 12 regular season schedule.
The Aggies dropped the doubles point for the first time in Big 12 play but swept all six singles matches for the victory.
A&M's Morgan Frank beat Kerryn Potgieter for her 11th victory in 12 conference matches. Elze Potgieter clinched the victory for the Aggies with a 6-3, 7-5 victory against Samantha van der Drift at No. 1 singles.
A&M (15-7, 9-2) will host the Big 12 Championships starting next Thursday at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
