Aggies name interim diving coach

Texas A&M has named three-time Olympic diving coach Ken Armstrong interim diving coach, athletics director Bill Byrne announced Wednesday.Armstrong currently oversees the The Woodlands Diving Academy in The Woodlands.
Byrne said Armstrong would not be the Aggies' fulltime coach because of his duties with The Woodlands Diving Academy. Byrne said A&M is in the process of hiring a permanent diving coach.
The Aggies fired former diving coach Kevin Wright on Oct. 2.
