Aggie women travel to SMU: The eighth-ranked Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team will face No. 18 Southern Methodist at Perkins Natatorium in Dallas at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Aggies (5-0) haven't swam in a dual meet since beating Penn State in College Station on Halloween night. The A&M swimmers have spent much of the past two weeks on their winter training trip in Miami. While there, the Aggies swept a nine-event exhibition meet against the Hurricanes last Saturday.
SMU (4-2-1) is coming off a 137.5-99.5 loss to No. 1 Georgia in Dallas on Tuesday and earned an 11th-place finish at the 2008 NCAA Championships.

Aggies record nine event wins at Arkansas Invitational: FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The No. 1 Texas A&M women and No. 6 Aggie men track and field teams won nine events and produced seven NCAA provisional marks to highlight the Arkansas Invitational on Friday.
In four of those event victories, the Aggies dominated the field by sweeping the top three or four places. The final event of the night had the A&M men placing first and second in the 4 x 400 relay with times of 3:13.98 and 3:14.39.
A&M's Jessica Beard and Porscha Lucas teamed up for a 3:37.91 relay victory in the 4 x 400 after claiming the 200 and 60 meters, respectively.
Beard clocked a time of 23.59 to win the 200 as Texas A&M placed 1-2-4-5-6 with the sprint crew of Gabby Mayo (23.97), Dominique Duncan (24.47), Sandy Wooten (24.71), and Elizabeth Adeoti (24.73).
In the men's race, three Aggies won their heats and finished 1-2-3 overall. Gerald Phiri led the trio with an indoor personal best of 21.23 while Chris Dykes clocked 21.38 and Bryan Miller set an indoor best of 21.81.
Lucas posted a 7.36 in the prelims of the 60 meters and then produced a 7.34 winning mark in the final, leading the Aggies to a 1-2-3-5 finish. Khrystal Carter followed in 7.46 with Allison George (7.46) and Adeoti (7.60) rounding out the A&M contingent.
Event winners with NCAA provisional marks also included Mayo in the 60 hurdles with an 8.41 while Ashika Charan (43-0.25) and Yasmine Regis (42-3.25) teamed up to lead a 1-2-3-4 effort in the triple jump. Another winning effort came from Brittany Machacek (56.07) in the 400.
