Aggies beat Cowgirls on road

STILLWATER, Okla. - Texas A&M's equestrian team won its final five head-to-head competitions to overtake Oklahoma State on Saturday.

A&M won the reigning competition 5-2. The Aggies had earlier won horsemanship 3-2 and the combination allowed the Aggies to improve to 9-1 on the season. Oklahoma State fell to 6-2

A&M sophomore Tonna Brooks, who is 15-0 this season, beat Leah Keuhn 72-68.5. A&M's Crissy Greebon celebrated her birthday with a 67.5-65.5 victory over Rachel Currant, while A&M's Amanda Ryan, Maddi Williams and Maggie Gratny swept their matches.

A&M freshman Caroline Gunn also remained unbeaten in horsemanship.

The Aggies compete in their final regular-season head-to-head competition at 1 p.m. Sunday againt Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan.
