MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Texas A&M Athletic Department will distribute unclaimed tickets for Monday's basketball game against the University of Texas to the students who have been to the most men's home games this season. The athletic department dispersed the 4,200 student tickets for the game based on a computer-generated lottery after officials canceled the first-come, first-serve method after overwhelming demand. Thousands of students began lining up for tickets more than eight hours before the box office opened. Winners of the lottery were able to pick up their tickets at Kyle Field on Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. But 488 tickets went unclaimed, and the students selected to receive the leftover tickets will be notified by e-mail by 8 a.m. Monday. They will be allowed to pick up their tickets until 5 p.m. the day of the game. The game will be broadcast on ESPN on Monday at 8 p.m.
