Aggie women taking on No. 6 Sooners

The 21st-ranked Texas A&M women's basketball team will face No. 6 Oklahoma at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lloyd Noble Center in a nationally televised game (FSN, Ch. 25).

A&M (14-4, 4-2) is in a three-way tie for second place in the Big 12 standings, while league-leading Oklahoma (17-1, 7-0) is riding a 26-game winning streak against Big 12 opponents in the regular season and conference tournament.

A&M is 2-4 this season on the road and hasn't won in Norman since the inception of the Big 12. But the Aggies have won four of their last five, including a 66-65 win over No. 25 Nebraska on Wednesday at Reed Arena.

Oklahoma beat Texas Tech 86-81 in double-overtime on Monday, then beat Iowa State 69-49 on Wednesday. Saturday's game will be the Sooners' fourth in eight days.
