The sixth-ranked Texas A&M softball team will face Iowa State in a Big 12 doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Southwest Athletic Complex in Ames, Iowa.

The series was switched to a doubleheader because of forecasted rain Sunday.

A&M (34-6, 6-0 Big 12) is enjoying the program's best Big 12 start after sweeping a two-game series against Missouri last weekend. The Aggies won 5-1 and 9-4 at the Aggie Softball Complex.

ISU (23-15, 1-3) is 1-4 in its last five games after dropping a 3-1 decision to Iowa in nonconference action Tuesday.

Both games will be broadcast on KZNE (1150 AM).
