Notes: Has made College Cup seven straight years, lost in finals twice.
Stanford 24-0-0
Coach: Paul Ratcliffe (164-67-23, 12th season)

Results vs. College Cup teams: 2-0 victory vs. Notre Dame; 2-0 vs. UCLA.

North Carolina 21-3-1

Results vs. College Cup teams: 7-2 vs. UCLA; 6-0 at Notre Dame.

Players to watch: (No. 54) Casey Nogueira had a hat trick in quarterfinal win; (No. 4) Meghan Klingenberg, jr., midfielder, member of World Cup champion U.S. under 20 team; (No. 98) Tobin Heath, sr., midfielder; 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist.
Notes: North Carolina has nine players going for a third national title. Dorance has won 100 NCAA Tournament games. Tar Heels have made 25 of 28 College Cups. Two of the three misses were the two previous finals held at College Station. ... Went eight straight matches and more then 800 minutes without giving up a a goal.
