STILLWATER, Okla. -- Freshman Nora Skelton scored the lone goal in Texas A&M's 1-0 shutout of Oklahoma State on Friday in Big 12 women's soccer action.
Skelton scored in the 12th minute on a shot from 15 yards out. It was her second goal of the season. Rachel Balaguer assisted.
A&M (8-4-1, 3-1-1) was outshot 19-18 by OSU (7-7, 1-5), and the Cowgirls earned seven corner kicks to the Aggies' two. But A&M goalkeeper Kelly Dyer, who substituted for Kristin Arnold at halftime, has seven saves in the second half to help seal the victory.
A&M will host Loyola Chicago at 4 p.m. Sunday in a nonconference match.
