College Cup tickets on sale: All session tickets for the 2009 NCAA Women's College Cup at the Aggie Soccer Stadium on Dec. 4 and 6 are on sale through the 12th Man Foundation.
Tickets range from $30 to $40 with the first 400 orders receiving a 2009 College Cup Wilson Mini Soccer Ball.
Tickets may be purchased at tickets.12thmanfoundation.com, by calling 1-888-99-AGGIE and at the Athletic Ticket Center at the north end of Kyle Field.
Advance orders will be accepted through Aug. 31, 2009. All seats are general admission.
TRACK AND FIELD
Aggies compete in Berlin: Ten athletes with ties to the Texas A&M track and field program will compete in the 12th Annual IAAF World Outdoor Championships which start Saturday in Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
Four members of the Aggie coaching staff also will be at the championships, which run through Aug. 23.
Three current A&M athletes competing will be Jessica Beard (for USA), Gerald Phiri (Zambia) and Julian Reid (Jamaica) Incoming junior Tabarie Henry will compete for the U.S. Virgin Islands. A&M graduates competing are Tyrone Edgar (Great Britain), Simone Facey (Jamaica) and Fabrice Lapierre (Australia). Three Aggie volunteer assistant coaches Muna Lee, Aries Merritt and Wallace Spearmon will compete for the United States.
A&M coaching staff members in Berlin are assistants Vince Anderson, Jim VanHootegem and Alleyne Francique along with volunteer assistant Andreas Behm.
