Aggies announce spring schedule: The Texas A&M soccer team will play 12 matches at the Aggie Soccer Stadium in its spring schedule, head coach G. Guerrieri announced Monday.
A&M's 7 on 7 Tournament is Feb. 20, where the Aggies will face four different opponents in one day. A&M faces North Texas and Utah on March 6 before hosting Baylor and Marquette on March 27.
Stephen F. Austin and BYU visit April 2, and Houston and SMU wrap up the schedule April 10.
Admission to the spring contests is free.
TRACK & FIELD
Aggies stay atop rankings, take Big 12 honors: Both the Texas A&M men's and women's track & field teams stayed No. 1 in the USTFCCCA rankings released Tuesday, and Zuheir Sharif and Natasha Ruddock were named Big 12 Athletes of the Week.
Sharif and Ruddock are the fifth and sixth Aggie individuals to receive the honor this indoor season, joining the men's 4 x 400-meter relay.
