Special to The Eagle

The city of Normangee will honor Joseph Jones, who helped the Panthers win a state championship in boys basketball, then starred for four seasons at Texas A&M.

The graduation/appreciation luncheon will be from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the Normangee ISD cafeteria.

Jones graduated from A&M in December.
