Men's schedule announced: Texas A&M will play in the 76 Classic in Anaheim and visit defending Pac 10 champion Washington as part of the 2009-2010 men's basketball schedule that includes 16 home games.
The Aggies will play in Houston's Toyota Center for the second consecutive season, facing New Mexico on Dec. 12.
A&M will open the 76 Classic against ACC representative Clemson at the Anaheim Convention Center on Nov. 26. The Aggies will play either West Virginia or Long Beach State in the second round of the tourney, which includes UCLA, Portland, Butler and Minnesota.
The Aggies' regular-season opener will be at home against Angelo State on Nov. 13. A&M also has non-conference games at Reed Arena against Samford, Prairie View A&M, Akron, North Texas, The Citadel, Northwestern State and North Dakota.
A&M will face Texas A&M-Commerce in a home exhibition game Nov. 5.
The Big 12 Conference schedule is highlighted by ESPN "Big Monday" matchup against Kansas on Feb. 15 at Reed Arena.
The conference tournament will be March 10-13 in Kansas City.

I can remember how awful A&M basketball was for years, years, years and more years. And now that we have a good team (for only that last 4-5 years) people still complain, amazing....I guess Miller58 liked it better when we sucked....how fitting. Doesn't surprise me really though.
