After a comfortable victory in its season opener, the Texas A&M men's basketball team hits the road Monday to take on SMU in a battle between former Southwest Conference foes at 7 p.m. at Moody Coliseum in Dallas.
The Aggies (1-0) beat Angelo State 88-69 on Friday behind forward David Loubeau's 20 points and nine rebounds. The Mustangs (0-1) lost their opener to South Florida despite getting 19 points from guard Derek Williams.
The Mustangs finished 9-21 last season and placed 12th in Conference USA with a 3-13 mark in league games. They were picked to finish ninth in the conference this season by the league's coaches.
The game will be broadcast on WTAW (1620 AM) and Sirius Ch. 154. There is no TV.
