A&M women ranked No. 13 in final poll: The Texas A&M soccer team finished the 2009 season ranked 13th by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and by SoccerTimes.com.
From the last regular season poll on Nov. 9, the Aggies jumped 10 places in the SoccerTimes.com Top 25 and nine spots in the NSCAA National Rankings.
The Aggies were the only Big 12 program ranked in the Top 25.
Back-to-back national champion North Carolina took the top spot in the rankings followed by Stanford, UCLA, Notre Dame, Portland, Florida State, Boston College, Wake Forest, South Carolina and Santa Clara. Ranked 11th by the NSCAA was Maryland and Virginia Tech came in 12th.
