Four Aggies to tee it up at U.S. Amateur: TULSA, Okla. -- Three current Texas A&M golfers and former A&M All-American Bronson Burgoon will be among the 312 participants at the U.S. Amateur Golf Championship starting on Monday at Cedar Ridge and Southern Hills Country Clubs.
Burgoon tees off at 1:55 p.m. Monday, sophomore Jordan Russell goes at 2:15 p.m., and freshman Cameron Peck at 2:35 p.m. at Cedar Ridge. Junior transfer Bryant Lach tees off at 7:30 a.m. at Southern Hills.
After the second round of stroke play on Tuesday, the top 64 players will advance to match play. All matches will be played at Southern Hills.
The Golf Channel will televise the first three days of match play (3-5 p.m. Wednesday and noon-2 p.m. Thursday and Friday). KMAY (Ch. 6) will televise Saturday's semifinals and Sunday's final from 3-5 p.m. each day.
