Eagle Staff Report

The NCAA announced Friday that Texas A&M will play host to the 2011 women's golf championship at Traditions Golf Club.

The eight lowest scoring teams -- as well as the two lowest scoring individuals not on an advancing team -- from each of the three regionals will play in the championship, set for May 17-20, 2011.

Traditions was the site of the 2005 women's Central Regional and will be the host course for the men's Southwest Regional in May.
