Texas A&M true freshman wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones will have knee surgery Friday, the school announced Thursday.

Seals-Jones was rated the No. 1 wide receiver in the country by, though he played quarterback. He missed much of his senior year at Sealy with a knee injury and returned for the last few games.

By playing in only two games this season, Seals-Jones will be eligible for redshirt and have four years of eligibility remaining.

I sure was wanting to see a healthy RSJ on the field with Evans and Manziel. Maybe they will all be back next year ....[wink]

I hope this isn't a recurring theme in the years to come, ala Christine Michaels.

Best of luck RSJ! Hope you get that medical red shirt. I wanted to see you against LSU. It will have to wait a year now.
