Four Texas A&M football players will participate in upcoming senior all-star games.
Running back Christine Michael will wear his familiar jersey No. 33 for the West squad in the 88th Annual East-West Shrine Game on Saturday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. and the game will be televised by the NFL Network. The West squad is led by head coach Leeman Bennett, a former coach for the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Defensive back Steven Terrell will wear No. 41 as he plays in the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic on Saturday at Cramton Field in Montgomery, Ala. Terrell will play for the Stars, coached by Jim Bates, a 17-year NFL coaching veteran. His defensive coordinator is former Texas A&M defensive coordinator Joe Kines. The game will kick at 2 p.m. central and will be televised by CBS Sports Network.
Wide receiver Ryan Swope and linebacker Sean Porter will report to Mobile, Ala., on Saturday to prepare for the Senior Bowl, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. Jan. 26 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The game will be televised by the NFL Network.
