Every office has one. And without a doubt, every family has one.
It's the guy or gal who is a walking sports encyclopedia. They proudly wear their favorite team's apparel, long after the items were fashionable. Their home is a shrine to that franchise and their car is a billboard on wheels.
Of course their expertise extends well beyond, say, just the Aggies or the Dallas Cowboys. They are experts in the entire sporting world. They also know the best player on the Milano Eagles and what the Blinn Buccaneers' chances of repeating as national football champs are.
They are affectionately known as sports nuts.
We at The Eagle feel it's time to recognize your Uncle Know-It-All, Boastful Betty from the office and the annoying iamthebestfrom79 from your fantasy football league.
We figure the Brazos Valley's best sports nuts would be perfect for The Eagle's infamous 18-mammal Prognosticator Panel.
If you know a sports nut who would be good at picking football games -- or you would love to see Mr. Smarty Pants finish behind Wonder Dog Buddy Cessna -- we'd like to know.
