The St. Louis Rams will hire Texas A&M offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Nolan Cromwell as their wide receivers coach, according to footballscoop.com.

Cromwell became the wide receivers coach for the Seattle Seahawks in 1999 and stayed there until coming to A&M two seasons ago.

Cromwell played his entire 11-year NFL career with the Rams' organization. Cromwell, who starred in college as a quarterback at Kansas but played safety as a professional, started his NFL coaching career with the Rams in 1991 under John Robinson when the team was still in Los Angeles.

A&M head coach Mike Sherman, who just completed his second year on the job, has already replaced two coaches. Defensive coordinator Joe Kines retired and defensive line coach Buddy Wyatt went to Kansas. Sherman hired Tim DeRuyter and Terrell Williams to take their places.
