Most points for Aggies vs. Red Raiders: Texas A&M's 52 points are the most scored by the Aggies against Texas Tech. The previous high for A&M in Lubbock was 38 in 1961 and 1975. The previous high in the series overall came in a 50-15 victory at Kyle Field in 1988.

The 52 points were also the most scored by A&M against a ranked opponent since the Aggies' 65-14 win over No. 13 BYU in the 1990 Holiday Bowl.

*

Sherman's big victory: The victory was the first over a ranked team for second-year Aggie head coach Mike Sherman. It also was A&M's first win over a ranked opponent since beating No. 12 Texas at Kyle Field 38-30 in 2007. It was the first road win over a ranked opponent since a 12-7 victory over the No. 11 Longhorns in Austin in 2006.

*

Winning in Lubbock: The Aggies won in Lubbock for the first time since 1993, when Sherman was A&M's offensive line coach.

The win also broke A&M's four-game losing streak to the Red Raiders.

*

Two 100-yard rushers: Sophomore Cyrus Gray and freshman Christine Michael both logged the first 100-yard rushing games of their Aggie careers. Gray rushed for 131 yards on 25 carries, while Michael had 121 yards on 22 carries.

It was the first time A&M had a pair of rushers over 100 yards since 2007 when quarterback Stephen McGee and running back Jorvorskie Lane did it three times. The last time A&M had two running backs over 100 in the same game was 2003 when Derek Farmer and Courtney Lewis did it against Baylor.

*

Season high/low: The Aggies rushed for a season-high 321 yards and passed for a season-low 238 yards. The previous high rushing game was 251 yards against Utah State, and the previous passing low was 273 vs. Oklahoma State.

It was the most rushing yards by the Aggies since posting 359 yards against Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb., in 2007.

*

Turnover advantage: The victims of a season-high five turnovers (with no takeaways) last week against Kansas State, the Aggies turned the tables on the Red Raiders with five takeaways and only one giveaway. A&M improved to 21-5 in games with the turnover advantage since 2005.
