BASKETBALL
Davis to play in all-star game: Texas A&M senior forward Bryan Davis has been selected to play in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Reese's College All-Star Game on Friday as part of Final Four in Indianapolis, Ind.
"This is a great honor for Bryan to be selected to play in the NABC All-Star Game at the Final Four," A&M head coach Mark Turgeon said. "I know he will represent Texas A&M very well, just as he's done throughout his career. We are very proud of him."
Davis averaged 9.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season.
The 3:35 p.m. game will be televised by CBS College Sports.

Adams and Smith honored: Texas A&M's Danielle Adams and Tanisha Smith earned honorable mention on the Associated Press' All-American women's basketball teams.
Adams and Smith led the Aggies (26-8) to the Big 12 tournament championship and the program's fifth-straight NCAA tournament appearance.
Adams, a 6-foot-1 junior forward, was the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Year and Most Outstanding Player of the Big 12 tournament. She averaged a team-leading 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.
Smith, a 6-0 guard from Kansas City, earned all-conference honors by averaging 15.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
EQUESTRIAN
A&M earns two top seeds: Texas A&M earned two top seeds and has five individuals qualify for the Varsity Equestrian National Championships, the selection committee announced Tuesday.
The Aggie western team, the defending national champions, is the No. 1 seed in its bracket, while the hunter seat squad earned a No. 4 seed. Both teams have first-round byes and will open competition in the quarterfinals on April 15 at the Heart O' Texas Coliseum in Waco.
On the western side, the top-seeded Aggies will face either eighth-seeded Fresno State or ninth-seeded Baylor. The hunter seat riders will meet the winner of No. 5 seed Baylor and No. 12 seed TCU, also on April 15
In addition to the team competitions, each of the four disciplines will feature an eight-rider, single-elimination championship bracket, and A&M placed five in those fields for the first time in school history.
Senior Caroline Gunn (14-1), looking for a third straight national title, earned the overall No. 1 seed in horsemanship. Freshman Carey Nowacek (13-1-1) is the No. 2 seed.
In reining, senior Maggie Gratny (11-3-1) is the top seed. Over fences, sophomore Maggie Earle (9-5) is the No. 8 seed.
Rounding out A&M's individual riders is sophomore Elizabeth Solch (11-2-2), tabbed the No. 5 seed on the flat.
GOLF
A&M women at Rebel Intercollegiate: OXFORD, Miss. -- The No. 18 Texas A&M women's golf team will compete in the University of Mississippi's Rebel Intercollegiate on Friday through Sunday at the par 72, 6,351-yard Ole Miss Golf Course.
The Aggies jumped two spots to No. 18 in this week's Golfweek/Sagarin Ratings. Aggies ranked among the top 100 individuals are senior Julia Boland (No. 19), junior Sarah Zwartynski (No. 57) and freshman Sarah Beth Davis (81).
A&M is coming off a third-place team finish at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, which included Zwartynski's first career individual victory. A&M will use the same lineup as last week with Boland, Zwartynski, Davis, freshman Chloe Garner and senior Ashley Freeman. Freshman Aly Smith will be playing as an individual.
TENNIS
Aggie men win two: The 12th-ranked Texas A&M men's team beat Texas-Arlington 6-1 and Rice 4-3 on Wednesday at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
Leading 3-1 against Rice (10-9), A&M's Alexey Grigorov beat Sam Garforth-Bles 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) to clinch the dual match victory.
A&M (15-4) will face Nebraska at 3 p.m. Friday in Lincoln, Neb.

Otto in second in decathlon at Texas Relays: AUSTIN -- Texas A&M's Trinity Otto stands in second place after the first day of the decathlon at the 83rd Texas Relays on Wednesday.
Oregon's Ashton Eaton, the defending NCAA champion, leads at 4,494 points. Otto has 4,187 with California's Michael Morrison in third at 4,041.
A&M's Daphne Fitzpatrick is in fourth in the heptathlon at 3,338. Oregon's Brianne Theisen, the defending NCAA champion, leads with 3,651 followed by Angelo State's Aisha Adams at 3,485 and New Mexico's Sandy Fortner at 3,374.
Natosha Rogers placed fifth in the women's 5,000 meters at 17:43.91. Jimmy Welin was seventh in the men's 5,000 (15:24.36), and Wes Caceres was eighth in the 1,500 (3:59.90).
