Aggies to host Kansas State: The third-ranked Texas A&M equestrian team begins its season-ending homestand at 11 a.m. Friday against No. 6 Kansas State at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan. Admission is free.
A&M will also look to extend a four-show win streak over the Wildcats, who they defeated in a tiebreaker in Manhattan back on Nov. 6.
The 3,000-seat Expo Complex is located at 5827 Leonard Road in Bryan.
GOLF
Aggies contending in Hawaii: SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii -- Freshman Cameron Peck fired a 5-under 67 on Thursday to lift No. 5 Texas A&M into second place after two rounds of the John Burns Intercollegiate at Leilehua Golf Course.
All six A&M players shot par or better as the Aggies posted a team score of 13 under. A&M's two-round 16-under total trails leader California by two strokes going into Friday's final round. No. 23 UNLV is in third at 14 under.
Peck is in third place in the individual standings at 6 under (71-67--138), two strokes behind leader Stephen Hale of California (65-71--136). UNLV's Derek Ernst is in second at 68-69--137. A&M's Andrea Pavan is in eighth place at 70-69--139.
Other A&M scores include Nacho Elvira (73-68--141), Jordan Russell (71-71--142) and Geoff Shaw (73-72--145). Competing as an individual, freshman Case Cochran is at 75-68--143.
SOFTBALL
A&M to host Aggie Classic: The No. 21 Texas A&M softball team opens the home portion of its schedule this weekend as host of the Aggie Classic.
The Aggies (5-1) will host Mississippi State (4-0) at 3 p.m. Friday followed by a game against Oregon State (2-3). Louisiana-Monroe (3-1) fills out the Classic's field.
A&M will play two games Saturday and one Sunday.
TENNIS
Aggie women head to Las Vegas: The Texas A&M women's tennis team will face San Diego at noon Friday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on the UNLV campus in Las Vegas.
The No. 39 Aggies also will face No. 41 Fresno State on Saturday and No. 50 UNLV on Sunday. Matches begin at noon each day, and live scoring will be available at AggieAthletics.com.

Aggie men to host doubleheader: The No. 17 Texas A&M men's tennis team will host Wisconsin and Laredo Community College in a doubleheader Sunday at the Mitchell Tennis Center. The Aggies will face the Badgers (7-1) at noon and Laredo at 6 p.m.
Wisconsin, the third-highest ranked team from the Big Ten Conference in the latest ITA rankings, will take on Big 12 rival Texas Tech on Saturday at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
