A&M 56-19
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, September 26, 2009
UAB's backup QB scored on a 60-yard run. There's some second-teamers in for A&M, but that doesn't surprise me. A&M couldn't have been too jacked up with a huge lead. The only comical thing was UAB had to wait on the holder for the PAT. He probably thought if the coach wanted to go for two about five score ago, why kick now? There might be another score or two coming. That play pushed UAB over 300 yards of offense. By the way, Tommy Dorman is in at QB.

TURNOVER
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, October 11, 2008
The Wildcats needed only six plays to go 47 yards after Ryan Tannehill fumbled. KSU quarterback Josh Freeman rolled in from 11 yards on third-and-5, going through three would-be tacklers. The talk at the concession stands at halftime will be brutal. ...  full blog

OUCH
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, October 11, 2008
KSU just went 93 yards in 13 plays to score, making it look way too easy. The Wildcats faced only one third down — and didn’t get it. But KSU picked up 12 yards on fourth-and-1. A&M can’t stop the run and defenders are 5-6 yards off receivers. KSU 20 ...  full blog

BLOCKED
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, October 11, 2008
KSU broke though and easily blocked a punt by Justin Brantly, returning it 10 yards for a score. Brantly had gone 128 kicks without a block. The last was Texas in 2005. It sure caught me by surprise. A&M’s special teams have been brutal, but I thoug ...  full blog

DEFESNSE, NO GOODSON
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, October 11, 2008
A&M’s Von Miller came up with the game’s first big defensive play, knocking the ball away from KSU quarterback Josh Freeman with Amos Gbumblee recovering at the Aggie 12. KSU had moved from its 20. Also, A&M tailback Mike Goodson did not play in the ...  full blog

JUST 3
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, October 11, 2008
A&M had to settle for 26-yard Randy Bullock field goal to cap a 15-play, 73-yard drive because a 22-yard pass to Jamie McCoy to the KSU 1 was not allowed because of not enough men on the field. A&M rebounded to convert a fourth-and-2, but bogged down ...  full blog

TOO MUCH FREEMAN
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, October 11, 2008
KSU quarterback Josh Freeman passed and rushed for 79 yards on an eight-play, 81-yard drive to open the game. The Aggies tried to pressure him, but Freeman made it look way too easy. KSU 7, A&M 0. 11:45 ...  full blog

LEWIS, FREENEY OUT
By Robert Cessna | Saturday, October 11, 2008
The Aggies are already without defensive end Michael Bennett, who has been suspended for a game. Linebacker Anthony Lewis and defensive end Paul Freeney are not suited. Both suffered injuries last week against Oklahoma State. ...  full blog

GO HOGS
By Robert Cessna | Thursday, October 09, 2008
The biggest college football game this week is top-ranked Oklahoma against fifth-ranked Texas in Dallas. The amount of coverage a game of that magnitude gets is mind-boggling — television, newspapers, magazines, talk shows, and the Internet — they’r ...  full blog

Wounded Wildcats favored?
By Robert Cessna | Monday, October 06, 2008
WOUNDED WILDCATS FAVORED?I consider myself a pretty good oddsmaker, but Las Vegas didn’t agree with my A&M-Kansas State line. I expected A&M to be a 2.5-point favorite. Instead, KSU is a 3.5-point pick. A&M’s losses to Arkansas State a ...  full blog
