BASKETBALL
Adams expected to play against TCU: Danielle Adams will be held out of Thursday's practice but is expected to take part in Friday's drills, said Texas A&M head women's basketball coach Gary Blair.
Adams suffered concussion-like symptoms after hitting her head in Thursday night's 108-49 victory over North Texas. But Blair expects Adams to play in Saturday night's game at TCU.
Three players -- junior guard Maryann Baker, sophomore guard Sydney Carter and freshman guard Cierra Windham -- have recovered from shoulder injures and will no longer have to wear braces.
