BASKETBALL
A&M women re-enter Top 10 in coaches' poll: Texas A&M's 57-56 upset of Oklahoma on Monday helped the Aggies climb two spots to No. 9 in the USA Today-ESPN women's college basketball poll.
The loss dropped OU a spot to third behind Connecticut and Stanford.
SOFTBALL
A&M slips in rankings: The Texas A&M softball team slipped two spots to No. 21 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association's Top 25 poll, while the Aggies (9-7) fell out of the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate poll despite winning four of five games over the weekend.
TENNIS
Aggie men up to No. 13: The Texas A&M men's tennis team climbed one spot to No. 13 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings released Tuesday.
The Aggies (3-2) are one of three Big 12 teams in the Top 15.
Senior All-American Conor Pollock and sophomore All-American Austin Krajicek earned a career-best No. 8 ranking in doubles.
Pollock is ranked 14th in singles, followed by sophomore Wil Spencer at No. 35 and Krajicek at No. 69.

Cook, Joelson have solid efforts: Former Texas A&M men's tennis players Lester Cook and Brett Joelson had successful weekends on the USTA Pro Circuit.
Cook, who played for the Aggies from 2002-04, teamed up with Shane La Porte to win the doubles title in a pro tennis tournament in Brownsville.
Cook also picked up three straight victories in the qualifier to earn a No. 3 seed in the singles main draw in Brownsville. He reached the semifinals.
Joelson, who played for the Aggies from 2004-07, defeated two seeded players in the qualifying draw of singles at the Harlingen Country Club Futures tournament.
SWIMMING AND DIVING
Fourteen Aggie women make academic All-Big 12 team: Fourteen members of the Texas A&M women's swimming & diving team were named to the academic All-Big 12 Team, the conference office announced Tuesday.
The Aggies placed 11 on the first team and three on the second team. A&M also had three swimmers earn special mention for carrying a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
Ella Doerge, Emily Neal and Sarah Woods -- all juniors -- have 4.0s for their careers and are pursuing degrees in genetics, political science, and chemical engineering, respectively.
Other Aggies on the first team are seniors Triin Aljand, Marissa Jasek and Sally Ranzau; juniors Melissa Hain and Haley Haynes; and sophomores Melanie Dodds, Hannah Kinder and Emily Watson.
A&M's second-teamers were senior Codie Hansen, junior Rebekah Love and sophomore Casey Hurrell-Zitelman.
To qualify for the academic All-Big 12 teams, athletes must have maintained a 3.0 GPA or better either cumulatively or over the course of the past two semesters and have participated in at least 60 percent of the team's competitions. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence.
EQUESTRIAN
Aggie riders move up in rankings: The Texas A&M equestrian team moved up one spot in the latest Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll released Tuesday.
The Aggies (6-3), fresh off a 15-9 victory over Kansas State on Friday, moved up to third. Baylor is No. 1, followed by Georgia, A&M, Auburn and South Carolina.
