A&M junior first baseman Luke Anders was named the Big 12's player of the week Monday.

The former A&M Consolidated standout hit .467 with two home runs and five runs batted in during last week's action against Texas State and Missouri.

Kansas State's Brad Hutt was named pitcher of the week.
