BASEBALL
Aggies to host Washington State: The Texas A&M baseball team will host 25th-ranked Washington State in a three-game series at Olsen Field this weekend.
Game times are set for 6:35 p.m. Friday, 2:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:05 p.m. Sunday. A&M (11-2) is on an eight-game winning streak. Washington State (9-1) opened the season with a nine-game winning streak.
SOFTBALL
Aggies to host Invitational: The No. 24 Texas A&M softball team will host the Aggie Invitational this weekend.
A&M will face Utah State at 3 p.m. and Wright State at 5:15 p.m. Friday with two more games set for Saturday and one Sunday.
North Dakota State is also in the field.
SWIMMING & DIVING
Nine Aggies earn NCAA bids: Nine Aggie men qualified for the NCAA Championships when the field was announced Thursday.
Seniors Jason Bergstrom, Nikita Denisyako and Casey Strange, juniors Nathan Lavery, Boris Loncaric and Balazs Makanys, sophomore Amini Fonua and freshmen John Dalton and John Wagner will compete in the NCAA meet March 25-27 in Columbus, Ohio.
Bergstrom, Denisyako, Lavery, Loncaric, Makany and Strange are making return trips to the NCAA Championships.
A&M senior Tyler Welch, junior Bryan Snowden and freshman Omar Enriquez will go to the meet as relay alternates.
TENNIS
Aggie men to host Cal: The Texas A&M men's tennis team will host No. 11 California at 6 p.m. Friday at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
No. 28 A&M (7-4) is 5-1 at home this season. The Aggies have not faced Cal since a 5-2 victory in 2005 in Berkeley, Calif.
