A&M Night in Arlington: Texas A&M men's golf coach J.T. Higgins will throw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers' game against Minnesota at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at Rangers Ballpark at Arlington.
The toss by Higgins, who guide A&M to the national championship in the spring, will highlight Texas A&M Night.
Discounted tickets are available for Texas A&M students, former students, family and friends, but must be purchased in advance and will not be available at ticket windows.
Tickets can be purchased at www.texasrangers.com/aggies with the password Rangers.

Lee places fifth in semifinals: BERLIN -- Texas A&M volunteer coach Muna Lee placed fifth Monday in the 100-meter semifinals in 11.18 seconds on the third day of the IAAF World Championships.
Lee was .02 behind the fourth-place finisher, who advanced to the finals.
Lee will compete in the 200 meters Wednesday. A&M's Gerald Phiri will compete in the men's 400 along with volunteer coach Wallace Spearmon. Incoming A&M junior Tabarie Henry will compete in the 400 for the U.S. Virgin Islands.
