A&M baseball players Stripling, Naquin earn All-America honors

Texas A&M junior pitcher Ross Stripling, who earned a no-decision against South Carolina in the College World Series, was a first-team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings. Aggie sophomore right fielder Tyler Naquin was on the second team.
Stripling was 14-2 with a 2.29 earned run average. He had 113 strikeouts in 125 and two-third innings. Naquin batted .381 and had a 27-game hitting streak.

Stripling and Naquin also were named to the ABCA All-Midwest Region team. Junior pitcher John Stilson (5-2, 1.68 ERA) was on the second team.
