A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill breaks foot, will miss Senior Bowl
Eagle Staff Report
Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill has an injured foot and will not compete in the Senior Bowl, SI.com's Tony Pauline reported Tuesday.
A&M officials could not confirm nor deny the report as they await word from Tannehill. However, one A&M official said that a non-A&M source said that Tannehill broke his foot while training.
The Senior Bowl is Jan. 28 in Mobile, Ala. Tannehill, projected to be a first-round NFL draft pick, was going to be the top quarterback on the South squad coached by Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan.
A&M running back Cyrus Gray, wide receiver Jeff Fuller and kicker Randy Bullock are expected to play in the bowl. A&M cornerback Coryell Judie was invited but cannot play because of a wrist injury he suffered in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.
