Tannehill injures foot, will miss Senior Bowl, reports SI.com
Eagle staff report
Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill has an injured foot and won't compete in the Senior Bowl, reports SI.com's Tony Pauline.
A&M officials could not confirm or deny the report as they await word from Tannehill. However, one A&M official said that a non-A&M source said that Tannehill had broken his foot while training.
Tannehill, projected to be a first-round draft pick, was going to be the top quarterback on the South squad that will be coached by Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan.
The Senior Bowl will be Jan. 28 in Mobile, Ala. Other Aggies expected to play in the game are running back Cyrus Gray, wide receiver Jeff Fuller and kicker Randy Bullock. Cornerback Coryell Judie was invited, but can't play because of a wrist injury he suffered in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.
