Aggies picked fourth in Big 12 volleyball

The Texas A&M volleyball team is picked to finish fourth in the Big 12 in the league coaches' preseason poll released Wednesday.
Texas earned the top spot with seven of nine first-place votes and 63 points. Coaches do not vote for their own team.
Iowa State earned the other two first-place votes and tied Oklahoma for second with 53 points followed by A&M (43), Missouri (32), Baylor (30), Kansas (22), Kansas State (20) and Texas Tech (8).
The Aggies will begin the season at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 26 against Creighton at Reed Arena.
