Nel helps Aggie swimming and divng stay in Top 20

MINNEAPOLIS -- Grant Nel took the silver medal in the 3-meter springboard diving event to help the Texas A&M men's swimming and diving team finish Day 2 in 13th place at the NCAA Championships on Friday.

The meet ends Saturday.

Nel scored 17 points for the Aggies and nearly earned three more, finishing a close second to Purdue's David Boudia on the 3-meter board. Boudia won with 472.30 points over Nel's 471.35.
