Aggie women's swimming and diving team takes 10th at NCAAs

AUSTIN -- The Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team earned its fifth consecutive Top 10 finish at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, placing 10th with 182 points at the Jamail Texas Swim Center.

California won the team title with 424. Georgia was second with 394.5 and USC third with 351.

A&M freshman Breeja Larson won her second silver medal of the meet, finishing the 200-yard breastroke in 2:06.18, just .06 seconds behind winner Haley Spencer of Minnesota. A&M freshman Cammile Adams also earned a second-place finish Saturday, finishing the 200 butterfly in 1:52.93.

A&M's Janie Potvin finished fourth in platform diving with 314.15 points.

A&M's Alyssa Conner received the NCAA's Elite 88 award at the meet.
